Ultraman Yuletide Collection Coming to Blu-ray from Alliance Home Entertainment on 12/09/25
In a fun and festive first for the Ultra series, Alliance Home Entertainment (formerly Mill Creek Entertainment) will be releasing a holiday-themed Blu-ray on 12/09/25, titled the “Ultraman Yuletide Collection”. This set contains nine episodes from across seven Ultra series. Conflicting sources state this is either a one or two disc set. As with most recent Ultra Blu-rays, it comes with a free playable card from the Ultraman Card Game.

In the Ultraman Universe, none other than Christmas’ most mythical figure Santa Claus is highly linked with Father of Ultra, the peace-keeping guardian of the galaxy and the executive leader of the Inter Galactic Defense Force. This was first showcased in the Ultraman Ace series’ holiday spotlight in 1972, where Ace fights the Kaiju Snowgiran, and as he struggles in the battle, Santa Claus (Father of Ultra) comes to assist. Together they also battle a Namahage, the legendary phantom, who is seeking to destroy Christmas. Other must-see episodes in this ultimate Ultraman holiday streaming treat, include the Ultraman Taro (1973) Christmas story “The Ultra Christmas Tree,” which features a kind alien and a child’s gift. And Santa made his most recent appearance as Father of Ultra in 2006’s Ultraman Mebius in the episode “Father’s Back.”
