GODZILLA VS. DESTOROYAH to Screen in Kansas City on 01/17/25
While the actual anniversary may be eleven months away, Kansas City’s Screenland Armour, as part of their Friday Night Frights series, will be hosting a 30th anniversary screening of Godzilla vs. Destoroyah on 01/17/25.
Presented by Nightmare Junkhead, and in association with the Kansas City Horror Club, the movie will show at 9:30pm on the theatre’s biggest screen, in Japanese with English subtitles.

Nightmare Junkhead states they are “Really excited to see it on the big screen!” and that “Screenland is a great place for movie lovers!” I can confirm this, having attended multiple shows at the venue, including several classic Godzilla films. Screenings of Heisei films and Godzilla vs. Destoroyah seem particularly rare, so I’m very glad they are putting this on, and I will definitely be in attendance! Hopefully we will see similar anniversary screenings across the country this year.
